Vivi & The Vulva

Vivi and The Vulva

Vivi, Veronica, and Vanessa, three sex-positive vloggers,  attend an experimental performance night hoping to secure funding for their podcast from a rumored lube heiress. Instead, tensions resurface with a petty rival, the performance spirals into absurd political theater, and their opportunity slips away. Outside the venue, the trio confronts a deeper question about their purpose. Are they driven by funding, ego, or the mission they claim to serve?

Through humor and sharp character work, Qi Dada explores ambition, friendship, pleasure politics, and the cost of building liberating work in public. The film holds contradiction without apology. It is playful yet grounded, bold yet intimate.

Vivi and the Vulva was selected by the African Female Filmmakers Collective for its 2026 International Showcase, recognizing the film among a global cohort of women-led stories amplifying bold, culturally resonant perspectives. The selection highlights Qi Dada Jean's continued commitment to creating transformative media that centers the voices and lived experiences of women.
